Katie Noelle Holmes (born December 18th, 1978) is from Toledo, Ohio, US which is pretty far form Hollywood. Katie got to Hollywood with determination and considering she was born 2 months premature and only weighed 4 pounds at birth, she has gone on to do much bigger things. Katie’s first movie was ‘The Ice Storm’ but she got most of her acclaim in the series Dawson’s Creek where she played Joey Porter. Katie has since starred in several movies including The Gift (where she goes topless) and Batman Begins (a role which she will not continue in the sequel to this movie). Katie Holmes shocked nearly the whole world in November of 2006 when she married famed actor and Scientologist Tom Cruise who is 16 years older than her.  Katie and Tom had a child together named Suri.
