Kelly is an incredible talent - I really believe she is one of the most talented singers in the world right now. She was chosen to sing for the Pope's event.. she is a very down to earth celebrity and a great role model. I think it was a good move, it would have looked worse to decline the pope, no? lol I was raised Jewish, but I am atheist and I don't feel alienated at all. Whatever she believes in is her choice.
